Hummingbirds. Though they be tiny, they are quite fierce.
Hummingbirds have MEGA brains. Powerful peepers. They have excellent hearing. Hummingbirds have built-in beak weapons. They are built for performance. The are strong AND beautiful.
These tiny birds pack a serious punch and have quite a bit of meaning in my own life. My grandmother Peggy loved the hummingbird and found watching them flit and flounce and dance around nothing short of magical. And I feel the same way.
These tiny creatures can be a lesson to us all, size doesn't matter. So on a recent span of a few really terrible days, I put on the most beautiful new shoes, bedazzled with a tiny hummingbird, to remind me that it doesn't matter the size of your heart, just get up and get shit done. A tiny message but one with great power. #getshitdoneshoeoftheday
